Job Summary

The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual, passionate about the golf industry and motivated to grow professionally. A positive outlook with strong interpersonal skills will allow you to assist our members, their guests and public players with an exceptional experience on a daily basis. Attention to detail will separate this individual from the other candidates. He or she will be a member of our Golf Services Staff and will be challenged in all the facets of our operation. This is an ideal opportunity for any individual who desires to continue developing into a future leader within the industry. Successful Candidates should be available for shifts from April 1st through November 1st. High School students would be expected to help with weekend and evening shifts while in school.

Responsibilities and Duties

• • Responsible for greeting our Members, Guests and Daily Fee Players

• • Back-Shop services as requested

• • Maintenance, cleaning and recharging of golf carts

• • Regular up keep of rental bag storage area / starters shack

• • Assisting in the preparation and execution of tournaments throughout the season

• • Setting up carts and preparing for each days tee times

• • Retrieving, cleaning and putting away golf bags and carts in storage areas

• Performing other related duties and assignments as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• • Ability to provide the finest in customer service

• • Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

• •  Quality interpersonal communication skills

• • Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision

• • Ability to work closely within a team environment to ensure the smooth running of the entire operation

• Previous golf experience considered an asset but not necessary

Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour

• • Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, etc.)

• Strong desire/knowledge for the game of golf preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• • Providing exceptional customer service

• • Performing day to day Pro Shop operations including tee-time reservations, merchandising, closing/opening duties, sales, customer service

• • Implementation and execution of club and outside events as well as leagues.

• • Assist in the supervision of the volunteer starters and marshals

•  Inventory management and control
