History
Granite Ridge Golf Club
In 1996, the brainchild of four successful businessmen from Mississauga came to fruition. Their dream:
- to build and create great affordable public golf
- not only to compliment the beautiful Niagara Escarpment which surrounded them
- but also, to grow the game of golf by making it economical to present and future players
- and to build a golf course that was enjoyable to play, that provided a challenge, but also one that appealed to those starting the game and one that embraced junior players
Designed by renowned Canadian golf course architects Rene Muylaert and Dick Kirkpatrick, Granite Ridge opened its doors to the public on July 1, 1996. The architects designed a user-friendly course with playability and tournaments in mind.

After four years, the opportunity to grow the facility presented itself and Granite Ridge Golf club expanded to 36 holes in 2000. The millennium brought us the Ruby and Cobalt courses which still stand ready today to welcome you, your family or your tournament.
The dream of Ted Diamanti, Bill, Stan and Karl Fujarczuk (Fay) is here today and we welcome the opportunity to greet you, your family, your company or club at a golf tournament, regular play or even for your special event. We pride ourselves on still bringing you a private course atmosphere at public course fees. Consider Granite Ridge Golf Club for your next event. We will make your day a resounding success.
